Who is MedicalGoGo and what is our role?

MedicalGoGo is a Medical Affairs agency based in the United Kingdom. When we refer to

1.WHAT: What personal data MedicalGoGo may collect about you

Data that we collect automatically, for instance recordings of telephone calls when you call MedicalGoGo or we call you (you will always be notified in advance when we are intending to record a telephone call) and technical data we automatically collect about your equipment, browsing actions and patterns as you interact with our websites, platform, applications and services, through certain technologies, such as cookies.

4. ON WHAT GROUND: On what basis MedicalGoGo processes your personal data

Depending on the data processing in question, MedicalGoGo will generally process your personal data on one of the following legal grounds:

• With your prior consent, where you have clearly expressed your consent to MedicalGoGo’s processing of your personal data. In practice, this will generally mean that MedicalGoGo will ask you to sign a document, to fill in an “opt-in” form or to follow a procedure to allow you to be fully informed, and then either clearly accept or refuse the data processing
• Where needed to perform a contract between you and MedicalGoGo. 5.WHO: Who MedicalGoGo shares your personal data with

For the purposes described above, MedicalGoGo may need to share your personal data with the following authorised third-parties:

• our partners, such as healthcare professionals and organisations, distributors and agents, and other members of the healthcare and pharmaceutical
• selected suppliers, service providers and vendors acting upon our instructions who provide website hosting, payment processing, order fulfilment, information technology, system administration and related infrastructure provision, customer service, healthcare professional validation, email delivery, data analysis, auditing, market research, digital monitoring, marketing, advertising, brand, communication and other
• healthcare and patient service providers who administer patient support and homecare programmes on behalf of MedicalGoGo’s clients and provide other healthcare services such as nurse services.

7.HOW SECURE: What MedicalGoGo does to protect your personal data

We have implemented a variety of technological and organisational procedures and measures to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of your personal data from unauthorised access, use and disclosure. These measures will take into account the state of the art, the costs of implementation and the nature, scope, context and purposes of processing as well as the risks posed by the processing (in terms of likelihood and severity) to your rights and freedoms. Information you submit to MedicalGoGo, is encrypted using the Transport Layer Security (“TLS”) encryption standard. Please be aware that the MedicalGoGo ‘Analytica’ services uses algorithms to generate Expert professional profiles and to calculate Experts’ relevance based upon search terms input into the MedicalGoGo ‘Analytica’ services by MedicalGoGo’s Pharmaceutical company customers.

2. DOES MedicalGoGo COLLECT INFORMATION FROM CHILDREN UNDER 16 YEARS OF AGE?

We are committed to protecting the privacy of children. We do not collect personally identifiable information from any person we actually know is under the age of 16.

3. WHAT DOES MedicalGoGo DO WITH THE INFORMATION IT COLLECTS?

We use the information collected to provide the MedicalGoGo ‘Analytica’ services to our Pharmaceutical company customers, which includes generating professional profiles of Experts that are searchable by our Pharmaceutical company customers. If you identify yourself to us, including by sending us an e-mail with questions or comments, we may use your information (including personally identifiable information) to respond to your questions or comments, and we may file your questions or comments (with your information) for future reference.

4.WITH WHOM MIGHT YOUR PERSONAL DATA BE SHARED?

We generally disclose information we gather from you in connection with the MedicalGoGo ‘Analytica’ services to the following types of third parties and as otherwise set forth in this Data Protection Privacy policy or as specifically authorized by you.

MedicalGoGo Pharmaceutical company customers.

We may share your information (including personally identifiable information) with MedicalGoGo’s Pharmaceutical company customers and their users, who may be located throughout the world, through their use of the MedicalGoGo ‘Analytica’ services. MedicalGoGo’s Pharmaceutical company customers include those in the pharma and life science industries. Once any MedicalGoGo Pharmaceutical company customer has accessed information through the MedicalGoGo ‘Analytica’ services, such Pharmaceutical company customer shall be responsible for any obligations under applicable law arising out of such Pharmaceutical company customer’s usage, sharing, or other processing of such information, including any notice or consent obligations under applicable law; this Data Protection Privacy policy does not apply to any such usage, sharing, or other processing by any MedicalGoGo Pharmaceutical company customer or its users.

Laws and Legal Rights.
