Marketing and Sales (Manager)


Marketing and Sales roles are critical to MedicalGoGo’s growth and financial success. While levels of seniority will incur more responsibility, every position in Marketing and Sales embodies the following responsibilities based on key qualifications.

Perhaps one of the most important aspects of this role at MedicalGoGo is knowledge of the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry. Specifically, selling digital service based solutions into large, mid level, and small pharmaceutical companies.

MedicalGoGo has over 10 clients worldwide and many of them working in regional markets in Europe and America. We believe a focused Marketing and Sales representative in this region can drive greater market share, greater visibility, uptake, and adoption of MedicalGoGo solutions, and lead to acquisition of an expanded life sciences client base.


  • Manage strategic marketing of MedicalGoGo and client projects
  • Lead all aspects of sales initiatives for new revenue opportunities and driving incremental revenue for the organisation
  • Generate new leads, qualify opportunities, and capture new business
  • Identify and confirm issues that clients are facing and construct a unique, compelling value proposition that is strategically appropriate for each client that provides solutions and is based upon MedicalGoGo’s unique competitive advantages and core competencies
  • Establish and maintain contacts at the highest level of decision-making authority within prospective and existing accounts
  • Develop and provide relevant capabilities presentations and strategic MedicalGoGo recommendations and solutions to prospects/clients
  • Ability to navigate multi-stakeholder sales cycle
  • Comfortable speaking with all facets of Pharmaceutical organisations (marketing, medical affairs, clinical, IT, Medical, Legal, Regulatory, and procurement)
  • Maintain and up-sell existing clients with product enhancements, new products and new services
  • Deliver competitive market intelligence to product management and marketing
  • Appropriately manage expectation levels around solution performance and how partnership is essential to online community successes
  • Manage pipeline development and advise management on monthly forecasts
  • Ensure tight collaboration with Client Success teams to guarantee smooth transfer of sale to execution
  • Ensure tight collaboration with medical and scientific for lead follow-up and marketing activity representation


  • Must have minimally 5+ years sales experience to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device industry (experience selling digital or software solutions in this domain)
  • Must possess account knowledge, executive-level client contacts and industry related relationships inside defined geographic region
  • Must have proven track record as a top sales producer (consistently exceeds targets) and developing new business relationships with client executives and senior management contacts
  • Sales training and experience with solution, consultative, strategic and/or conceptual selling is necessary
  • Experience with new contract and renewal sales while exceeding sales quotas is necessary
  • Highly developed organisational, planning and management writing skills and oral communication skills and the ability to work effectively with others
  • Ability to travel 40%-50% for clients and sales training
  • BA or equivalent experience
  • Fluent in English, second language from Europe would be an advantage
